Ecotopia is about participation and learning. As such, the level of learning is determined by the level of participation, and vice versa. Our goal is to provide as many as possible of the workshops listed here but if this is to be achieved we need your help. If you feel you can give or help-out-with any of the following workshops or have an idea for one of your own, don't keep it to yourself! Please contact us as soon as you can with your proposed workshop, as we would like to draw up a provisional schedule in advance of the event. We can provide you with info and advice on facilities and resources that are available to you for demonstration purposes. We can put you in contact with other individuals or groups of similar ideas.

At the same time if you are brand new to these ideas know that there is no compulsion on participants to present workshops. All welcome to come and learn more.

Daily programme consists of workshops, discussions, seminars, actions, excursions..Everything is organized by the participants them self. Various issues covered, political, environmental and cultural; from people talking about campaigns they are involved with, discussions about current topic.. to practical workshops where you can gain skills and get to know new techniques. There will be a special space for children, and creative games and activities in the nature will be organized for them...

Workshops and discussions are about different topics around activism, dissent, cross-border issues, xenophobia, migration, gender issues, globalization, GMOs, role of media, alternative living, sustainable agriculture, etc. Skill sharing workshops are usually related to alternative technologies, permaculture, DIY [do it yourself] techniques, developing and running campaigns, ecological issues, music, etc. Evening program consists of spontaneously organized and planned parties, screenings (showing documentaries, movies, animations, etc.)...

As participants, you are invited to take part in creating the programme. Give workshops, share your knowledge, skills, plans and concerns with others.
